Sanctions Mean Nothing, Says Georgian Leader
The leader of Georgia’s parliamentary majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze, says sanctions imposed by the Baltic states are not a concern for his country.
Mdinaradze made these comments after a recent session with lawmakers. He said that while more pressure from Europe and possibly even harsher sanctions might come, it wouldn’t make a difference.
The Georgian government has been accused of various wrongdoings, but Mdinaradze believes the truth is on their side. He claims that even those who initially doubted Georgia’s position now see things clearly.
According to Mdinaradze, sanctions from the Baltic states were never a threat because Georgia was already doing well despite these measures. Today, he says, it’s not an issue at all.
