According to Ukrinform, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced that Ukraine is increasing its production of artillery systems and armored vehicles. The country is also making progress in its missile program and is reaching significant production levels for these weapons. Additionally, Kyiv is collaborating with partners to establish joint production ventures and secure funds for purchasing Ukrainian-made weapons.
Shmyhal emphasized the importance of timely delivery of weapons to the front lines, as it strengthens the soldiers and helps save lives. He also highlighted the government’s efforts to reduce bureaucratic hurdles through digitalization.
The prime minister also mentioned the implementation of a new veterans’ policy, which includes providing digital tools and services for veterans, simplifying procedures, and supporting veteran businesses. The government is also focused on retraining veterans for new professions and providing medical treatment and rehabilitation.
Ukraine is working towards establishing modern rehabilitation centers that meet global standards as a way to honor the heroism of its soldiers. Shmyhal emphasized the importance of recognizing and honoring the sacrifices of Ukrainian soldiers at all levels and in every part of the country.
