At the DFNC2 International Defense Industries Forum in Kyiv, the American D&M Holding Company and Ukraine’s defense giant Ukroboronprom signed an agreement to produce ammunition and special chemicals, as reported by Militarnyi. This agreement comes after D&M Holding opened a munitions production plant in Ukraine in September and completed the construction of a new facility.
The agreement was signed by Ukroboronprom CEO Oleh Huliak and D&M Holding Company Executive Director Dan Powers. During the meeting, Powers expressed gratitude and excitement for the new products and projects that Ukrainian industry is working on, and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the two countries.
While the details of the agreement were not disclosed, a representative from D&M Holding noted that the company has been working with Ukraine since the beginning of the war in 2022, contributing to the development of its defense industry. They also stated that their collaboration will continue even after the war ends, as Ukraine will have a strong defense industry that the world will need.
It is important to note that D&M Holding is not managing ammunition production, but rather is responsible for constructing the facility. The company provides turnkey solutions for ammunition production to government and commercial clients, offering services such as equipment design, production, engineering, and consultancy.
This agreement marks a significant step in the partnership between the United States and Ukraine in the defense industry, and highlights the potential for future collaborations and advancements in the field.
