**Serbian MP Threatened by Convicted Rapist**
A politician from the Green-Left Front (ZLF) in Serbia was threatened by a convicted rapist on Monday. The attacker, Simo Spasic, is known for provoking opposition protesters.
Spasic verbally abused ZLF MP Biljana Djordjevic on the steps of Parliament. He told her he would rape her and repeated this threat several times in front of police officers who escorted him away without taking any action.
This incident occurred after a session of Parliament where smoke bombs were used. The Green-Left Front said its MP Radomir Lazovic has been receiving death threats for days, saying he will suffer the same fate as assassinated Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic. The threats also included harming children, which the attacker wanted Lazovic to watch.
