Protest Works Against “Georgian Dream”
Actor Bacho Khajaia spoke with the news agency InterpressNews during a protest on Rustaveli Avenue. He said that the ongoing rally is already showing results.
The government, led by “Georgian Dream“, is not being recognized by many people both in and outside of Georgia. This is a major success for the protesters, Mr. Khajaia believes.
He also pointed out that the measures used to control the protesters are becoming harsher. He sees this as evidence that the protest is effective and working against “Georgian Dream”.
Mr. Khajaia stated that two things must be achieved before the protest can end: new elections and the release of political prisoners. He emphasized that the protesters will not give up on these demands until they are met.
