Lazare Gregoryiadis, 21, was arrested by police on March 29, 2023. He was charged with causing harm to the health of police officers, as well as destroying state property. He was accused of using violent tactics against policemen at rallies near the parliament against the “Russian Law” and of burning a car owned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the investigation, Grigoriadis threw “Molotov Cocktails” twice at the employees of Special Tasks Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs who were on duty in April 9 Street on March 7. On March 9, on Chanturia Street the accused deliberately lit a Toyota Corolla owned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The car burned on the spot and allegedly cost the state budget 39.500 GEL.
