**Russia‘s Losses in Ukraine**
Russia has lost a significant number of troops and equipment since its invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces‘ General Staff, Russia has lost:
* Over 902,000 soldiers
* The number includes more than 1,200 casualties over the past day alone
**Equipment Lost**
Russia has also suffered significant losses in equipment and vehicles, including:
* 10,403 tanks
* 21,609 armored fighting vehicles
* 41,425 other vehicles and fuel tanks
* 24,944 artillery systems
* 1,327 multiple launch rocket systems
* 1,111 air defense systems
* 370 airplanes
* 331 helicopters
* 30,338 drones
* 28 ships and boats
* One submarine
