Rally in Support of the MEGOBARI Act Takes Place in Tbilisi
A rally is happening at Marjanishvili Square in Tbilisi. The event will later move to Rustaveli Avenue.
The location holds special meaning, as it marks 35 years since Georgia and the US became friends. One of the organizers, Nino Evgenidze, says this friendship has been very important for Georgia’s growth and development.
According to Evgenidze, the US has played a big role in Georgia’s history. She believes that passing the MEGOBARI Act is crucial for the Georgian people.
“We’re gathered here today to remind everyone of our 35-year friendship with the United States,” said Nino Evgenidze. “The US has helped us grow and develop, and now we need their support again.”
