The Russian enemy attacked Ukraine on the night of the 7th of October 2024 between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m., using an Iskander M ballistic missile, a Kh-59 guided missile, hypersonic Kinzhals, a missile type unknown from the regions of Belgorod and Kursk, as well as Shahed drones. The districts that were attacked were Orel Primorsko-Akhtarsk Kursk and Yeisk, all in the fussian Federation.
Around 8:20 am, three MiG-31K aircraft flew over the Tambov region and launched three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles.
Radio engineering troops of the Air Force identified and tracked more than 80 air targets in total:
The Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the air attack with anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups.
In the anti-aircraft fight, two Kh47M2 “Kinzhal”, aeroballistic missiles, were downed near Kyiv and 32 enemy attack UAVs in Mykolaiv and the surrounding regions of Dnipropetrovsk Sumy Chernihiv Poltava Kharkiv.
In the Kharkiv area near the front, several enemy UAVs have been recorded. One of three “Daggers”, which hit the area around the Starokostyantiny Airfield in the Khmelnytskyi Region, was one of the three.
In addition, 37 Russian Drones were lost at various locations in Ukraine, possibly as a result active countermeasures taken by WB. Information is being clarified.

Shelling of Kyiv
Today, October 7 at 8:26 am, an air alert in Ukraine was announced. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the takeoff of the MiG-31K. Later, high-speed targets were reported to be moving towards Kyiv and Starokostyantyniv. The Kyiv Military Regional Administration announced the activation of the anti-aircraft defence after an explosion was heard in the capital.
According to the Kyiv Region Military Administration, during the morning attacks, enemy MiG31K carriers used Kh47M2 “Kinzhal”, aeroballistic missiles.
As of yet, falling debris was recorded in several districts, including:
Solomyansky district: debris damaged the roof on a multi-story building. One of the fragments fell onto the school grounds, and the remainder – mostly on the open terrain. Preliminary, no casualties;
Holosiivskyi District – a car’s roof was damaged by a wreck. Also, there are falling debris in the open space. There were no victims before.
In the district of Shevchenkiv – falling debris on an open area. No casualties.
“All operational services are involved.” The KMDA writes that the data in the operational summary are being clarified and updated.
According to Vitaly Klychko the mayor of the town, an fire broke out in Solomyansky.
“Maybe due to falling missile fragments.” There have been no casualties so far. Already, medics are on the scene. “Other services are on the way,” he wrote.
Later, the Kyiv Mayor announced that “the fire, which started on private property in one of the garages, as a result falling debris, had been extinguished.” No one was injured.
He also said that debris was discovered near the entrance to one of the apartment blocks and in the yard a private home.
In the Solomyansky District, missile fragments landed near a supermarket.
