**Talks in Saudi Arabia**
Two days of talks were held in Saudi Arabia between Ukraine, Russia, and the US. During these talks, all parties agreed to implement a ceasefire in the Black Sea and ban strikes against energy infrastructure.
**US Help for Russia**
The US has vowed to help restore Russia’s access to the world market for agricultural and fertilizer exports. They also promised to lower maritime insurance costs and improve access to ports and payment systems for such transactions.
**Russia’s Demands**
However, the Kremlin is demanding that Western sanctions be lifted on Russian food producers and exporters. They also want the West to remove sanctions on Russian-flagged ships involved in food and fertilizer trade. Furthermore, Moscow wants the West to lift sanctions on the import of agricultural equipment and fertilizers into Russia.
**Agreement Not Met**
Despite an agreement between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin a week ago, Russia has continued its aerial attacks against Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
