Russian Forces Detain Georgian Citizens
Two Georgian citizens were detained by Russian forces near the village of Ergneti in the Gori Municipality. This happened on occupied territory.
When this information was received, a special hotline operated by the European Union Monitoring Mission was activated. The agency also told co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions and international partners about the detention.
The State Security Service is working to get the detained citizens released as soon as possible. All available mechanisms are being used for this purpose.
