Salome Zurabishvili announced plans to establish a coordination platform in the Orbeliani Palace, the day before Georgia‘s parliamentary election. The platform will be used for monitoring the election process and ensuring that all votes are counted.
Zurabishvili, at a briefing in the Orbelian palace, stressed the importance of voting in order to protect Georgia’s independence as well as its path towards a European future. She urged the citizens to make sure that every vote was cast and used.
Zurabishvili stated that on election day a coordination platform would be set up at the residence of the president to monitor all events. Then, we would celebrate together our victory.
The next parliamentary elections will be held on October 26. There are 19 days left until the vote.
