**Russian Drone Attack Kills Four in Ukraine**
A devastating attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro has left four people dead and 21 injured. The assault was carried out by Russian drones late on Friday.
The regional head, Serhiy Lysak, said that a restaurant complex and several residential buildings were engulfed in flames. He added that most of the drones sent to the city were shot down by Ukrainian forces.
**Other Attacks Reported Across Ukraine**
In other parts of the country, air sirens were heard sounding overnight in several regions, including the capital, Kyiv. It was not clear if there were any casualties from these attacks.
The head of the military administration in Zelensky’s home city Kryvyi Rih also confirmed that a ballistic missile attack had hit the central city on Saturday morning, injuring five people.
**Russia and Ukraine Trade Blame**
The Russian defence ministry claimed to have intercepted or shot down three Ukrainian drones over the western Belgorod region. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of targeting energy infrastructure in violation of a temporary moratorium agreed earlier this month.
**UN Control Proposal Rejected**
Russian President Vladimir Putin had suggested that Ukraine should be temporarily placed under UN control to elect a more “competent” government. This proposal was widely condemned by Ukraine’s allies and seen as an attempt to challenge the legitimacy of the Kyiv government.
