**Lithuanian Scholarships Not Available to Georgian Students**
The country of Georgia is not included in the list of countries whose students can get scholarships for short-term academic programs in Lithuania. The studyin.lt portal reports that this change applies to the 2025-2026 academic year.
Normally, students from certain countries are eligible for these scholarships. They include Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, New Zealand, South Korea, Ukraine, UK, Uzbekistan, US, and Vietnam. Georgian students were among those who could apply in the past.
However, Georgian students are still welcome to apply for full-time master’s programs in Lithuania. It is not clear why Georgia was removed from the list this year.
