**Georgia and US Discuss Economic Cooperation**
Georgian Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili met with the US Ambassador Robin Dunnigan on April 1. This was their first meeting since the contested October elections.
The two discussed economic cooperation, including innovation, technology, trade, transportation, and investments in energy. They also talked about establishing Georgia’s first international technological hub in San Francisco.
**US Embassy to Support Georgian Project**
The US Ambassador pledged support for Georgia’s project to establish a technological hub in San Francisco. This hub will help Georgian start-ups access global markets and attract foreign investment.
**Trade and Relations**
Davitashvili and Dunnigan also discussed trade missions between the two countries. The meeting comes as Washington grows concerned about Georgia’s ties with China.
The US Embassy has been urging Georgia to take steps to improve their strained relations.
