**Georgia Decides Its Own Path**
Kakha Kaladze, Secretary-General of Georgian Dream, has responded to a statement made by the Helsinki Commission regarding the Anaklia Port project. He emphasized that Georgia is an independent country and will decide its own relations with other countries.
“Georgia will decide for itself what kind of relations to maintain and what trade agreements to establish,” Kaladze stated. “This is not the concern of the ‘Helsinki Commission.'”
**Prioritizing National Interests**
Kaladze also noted that Georgian Dream’s top priority is the Georgian people, their homeland, and national interests. He emphasized that everything else, including relations with other countries, comes after that.
“We are closely monitoring developments and waiting to see how events unfold,” Kaladze said.
**Support for Trump**
Kaladze expressed support for US President Donald Trump’s efforts to defeat the “Deep State.” He noted that three years ago, when they spoke about this issue, people mocked them. Now, Trump is openly talking about it.
“We were discussing the ‘Deep State’ three years before the rest of the world started to acknowledge it,” Kaladze said. “We support him in his endeavor and hope he succeeds in defeating the ‘Deep State.'”
**Pragmatic Foreign Policy**
Kaladze also emphasized that Georgian Dream follows a pragmatic foreign policy that prioritizes national interests above all else.
“What is our priority? Where do we stand?” Kaladze asked. “We act in the best interests of our country. Our homeland, our people, and our country come first.”
