The US and Russia have made “significant progress” towards ceasefire in the in Ukraine. This was said by Kremlin negotiator Kirill Dmitriev after talks with officials at the White House.

Dmitriev reported that significant progress had been made on the in Ukraine. He met with US officials in Washington on behalf of Russian Vladimir Putin.

The US and Russia are planning to restore their ties, including economic cooperation. American businesses are prepared to return to Russia and fill the vacancies left after European companies withdrew due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Dmitriev said that US companies are ready to occupy the niches left by European companies that left Russia. The two countries are also discussing restoring direct flights.
