On 15-17 March, Russia conducted “presidential election” in which incumbent Vladimir Putin secured his fifth term.
The West called it a “farce” and Russia conducted the sham poll in all the occupied regions of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova. In contrast to the “record turnout,” announced by the occupation authorities, the booths were empty and the usual intimidation and falsification tactics were used. Here’s what happened.
Repeated scenario for 2023 “parliamentary election”
