The Constitutional Court of Georgia has not granted the request for suspension of the law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence”.
The court also recognized that the lawsuits submitted were partially admissible. This means that substantive discussions about the cases will begin. The decision of the Constitutional Court states that “the petition of the claimant, pending the decision on the case to suspend the validity” of the disputed standards.
The dissenting opinion by the judges Giorgi Tughushi and Teimuraz Kverenchkhiladze should also be attached to the record minutes of the proceedings regarding the non-satisfaction with the claimant’s request for suspension of the disputed standards.
