According to preliminary data from the CEC the candidates of Georgian Dream won 14 self-governing community and in one community, Tsalenjikha.
According to data from all polling stations, Giorgi Kharchilava, the candidate for the National Movement, won the election against the candidate for the ruling team. This is the only community that has elected an opposition candidate. Giorgi Kharchilav received 51,107% and Goga Gulordava, the candidate for the “Georgian Dream“, received 48,893%.
The CEC reports all precincts in all self-governing community have been counted.
The opposition will defend its results. They do not recognize the results and believe that the elections were rigged.
