How can a party with 4% of the vote talk about taking control of the government? You are not in the country… They can’t go meet people because they know the attitude of the people in our country towards them. The mayor of the capital city responded to the question by saying that the transfer of power that they are talking about was unbelievable.
Kakha Kaladze believes that the representatives of opposition who talk about handing over the government following the elections are detached from reality because they don’t have the support of people. “How can a party with 4% of the vote talk about taking over government? You are not in the country… They can’t go and meet people because they know the attitude of the people in our country towards them. It is unimaginable what kind of transfer they are talking about. “It is better to return reality and see everything as it is”, Kakha Kaladze said.
Kaladze explained that the “National Movement” was involved in malicious activities.
Compare “National Movement” and “Georgian Dream”. You want to compare, but our situation is radically different. It’s 2024, and the country is developing, we’re moving forward economically, we have democracy, and we have freedom of speech. How can you compare “National Movement” in 2012 with “Georgian Dream?” What were they doing? The racket was normal everyday life. I say this in all sincerity. Freedom of speech was trampled on, and people were spat upon. They killed youths in the streets. What were they doing inside the prisons? The most treacherous act was in 2008 when the Russian army invaded and took over the territories. They will have to account for all of this. “All questions must be answered about what really happened,” Kakha Kaladze stated.
According to him, “Georgian Dream’s” chance of becoming the leader of the country is today with a constitutional majority. “Georgian Dream”, today, has a real chance to come to power. Not with a majority but with a constitution majority. This is the mood among the citizens of our nation, and there is an explanation for it, as on the other side, there is a true “war party”. Is it normal for a citizen to say that he prefers bombs to fall in his country? It is a “war-party” that wants destroy, demolish villages and cities, destroy infrastructure and burn down the country. Has this happened before? “, Kakha Kaladze said.
