The Ukrainian Army destroys 400 Shahed Drones in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai

The Ukrainian Defense Forces (UDF) and the Security Service of Ukraine successfully attacked a Shahed UAV Storage Facility in Russia on 9th October.
According to the General Staff, the , the Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck a Depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.
Russia launches made in Iran against Ukraine almost daily. The destruction of the base at Krasnodar Krai would significantly reduce Russian capability to terrorize Ukrainian civilians.
The Ukrainian Army released a statement that said: “Today, a strike team of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine attacked a Shahed Depot near the village of Oktyabrsky, in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.”
Approximately 400 strike drones are believed to have been stored at the base, according to information available. Control results confirmed that a direct strike was made on the depot. Secondary detonations were also observed at the facility.
On 9 October, launched missile and drone attacks in Ukraine, targeting several oblasts. Ukrainian air defense shot down 21 of 22 in the Vinnytsia and oblasts.
Five people were injured in a on the Odesa district. Three of the victims were hospitalized. The attack also damaged an eight-story building, a medical facility and a construction site that was not yet finished. The Russians have attacked Odesa the third consecutive night with drones.
