**Aerial Attacks and Defense**
Yesterday, Russia launched 99 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 163 Cruise Missiles (CABs) and carrying out about 5,449 attacks. This includes 123 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks and the use of 2,237 kamikaze drones for strikes. The aggressor targeted various areas, including Khrinivka in Chernihiv region; Petrushivka, Prokhody, Krasnopillya, Velyka Pysarivka, Bratenytsia, Basivka, Naumivka in Sumy region; and other locations.
In response, Ukrainian aviation and missile troops struck 12 areas of enemy concentration, personnel, weapons, and military equipment. This effort repelled the enemy’s assault actions in several areas, including Petropavlivka, Zagryzve, and Nova Kruglyakivka in Kupyansk direction; Novoyehorivka, Novolubivka, Hrekivka, Novy, Katerynivka, and Zelena Dolyna in Lyman direction; and other locations.
**Ground Attacks and Defense**
The enemy’s ground attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in various directions. In the Kharkiv direction, one combat clash took place near Kamyanka. The invaders launched six attacks in the Kupyansk direction, but their assault actions were repelled in Petropavlivka, Zagryzve, and Nova Kruglyakivka.
In other areas, Ukrainian defenders stopped 75 attacks of the aggressor in the Pokrovsk direction; eight enemy assaults were repelled in Novopavlivka direction; four futile attacks on our positions took place in Orikhiv direction; two unsuccessful attempts to approach fortifications occurred in Prydniprovskie direction; and 17 enemy attacks were repelled in Kursk direction.
**Enemy Losses and Ukrainian Successes**
The Ukrainian military has inflicted significant losses on the Russian invaders. Yesterday, about 1,330 Russian soldiers lost their lives, while Ukrainian forces neutralized 13 tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 56 artillery systems, four MLRS, 68 operational-tactical UAVs, 96 units of automobiles, and one unit of special equipment.
The estimated total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to April 6, 2024, are:
