The chronology and chain of Gakharia’s decisions easily prove that he’s no different than ordinary members of collective agencies. He receives orders from his common bosses, and obeys them without saying a word. How did he get promoted from the Ministry of Internal Affairs up to the position of Prime Minister? The answer is not easy, but we can consider it as a tribute paid to the owners in Gakharia – Mamuka Mamdinaradze, executive secretary of the “Georgian Dream“, said at the briefing.
According to him Giorgi Gakharia repeatedly tried to and deliberately damaged the government’s image while holding key positions within the “Georgian Dream Government”. He did this in accordance with a task he received from outside of the country.
“Unexpectedly he rushed to nightclubs in order to arrest drug dealers. He did not find any.” Instead, the government was found guilty as well as the police. He apologized in the name the police to the protesters and damaged the reputation of law enforcement officers. In Pankis, near the site of the hydroelectric power plant that the country needed to start, the special forces and population deliberately fought each other, insulting the special purpose squad, which had been given that task. He also conducted a special mission in Mestia, without the consent of the relevant people. The people were surrounded with police force and, if other government representatives had not reacted quickly, the conflict could have ended in casualties. Gakharia’s goal was the same in this case: to discredit police in the eyes the public. The Chorchana incident is one of Gakharia’s most treacherous actions. It was not immediately noticed either by the “National Movement” or their TV channels. In order to avoid any disagreement with the team or the relevant authorities on the matter, a police station was set up at the dividing border, near the occupied area, according to the instructions of the owners. He created a provocation that was unprecedented, and the Russians responded with the harshest of responses: they opened up three times as many checks, took over an even larger area, and the people of Chorchana were deprived of their forest. The state’s reputation suffered. The main purpose of this provocation was to artificially trigger a new armed conflict, which could, most likely escalate into a war. This action can be viewed as a miniature of a possible provocation that he would do if he got into trouble with the Government. The events of 20 June were a key moment. The police deployed in such a manner in front of parliament that a confrontation between aggressive protesters and police was inevitable. Rubber bullets were then used. Gakharia’s main task was to discredit both the government and police, something he achieved at that point,” said MamukaMdinaradze.
Mdinaradze said that the decision to promote Gakharia to Prime Minister from the Ministry of Internal Affairs was especially important for the “Georgian Dream’ team because Gakharia had left the Ministry of Internal Affairs whose reputation had been purposefully destroyed through targeted provocations.
“Obviously, someone will ask – if this was all done by one person, if he harmed the state in such an unforgiving way, how is it that he got promoted from the Ministry of Internal Affairs up to the position of Prime Minister?” It’s not a simple answer, but we can think of it as a tribute to the owners of Gakharia. This decision was important to the “Georgian Dream’ team because Gakharia had resigned as the Minister of Internal Affairs. The system, that should be the face and voice of the country was deliberately damaging its reputation through the above-mentioned targeted provocation. Mdinaradze said that it should be noted that these forces supported Gakharia. If not, then our team is still responsible to these forces, and we try to avoid a conflict with them despite all odds.
According to him, the public saw clearly that Gakharia was tasked with overthrowing the government after Giorgi Gakharia quit as Prime Minister because of Nikanor Melia.
“He had to prove that state institutions were completely rotten. The Ministry of Internal Affairs shouldn’t have enforced the laws, i.e., they shouldn’t have arrested Nikanor Meelia. Gakharia demanded 2 days hysterically, the same time period Saakashvili required to sneak into the country via ferry before the 2021 elections. Mamuka Mamukaradze said that the plan of Gakharia, and his patrons, was not only deciphered but also prevented.
Mamuka Mdinaradze urged the public to once again remember and analyze the facts he listed regarding Gakharia et Khazaradze.
“Saakashvili is the head of all four agencies: Gvaramia and Khazaradze. Gakharia is also in charge. Even though two of them will most likely fail to pass the threshold, the people should be aware that every vote cast for any of these four agent parties, without exaggeration creates a grave threat to our peaceful and dignity tomorrow, as well as the very existence the country.
In summary, we can say that Saakashvili, his team, and the bosses were put to work slowly and committed many brutal crimes in front of Khazaradze and Gakharia. They are aware of the serious tasks that they will be given and they are willing to accept them, despite the bad experiences in the past. Both of them are a greater danger to the Georgian society than the old wing, which is well known. Mamuka Minadaradze said that one of the first and most important tasks would be to wash the criminal past away from the “National Movement”.
