Georgia’s Pension Agency announced that the country’s pension assets currently exceed GEL 5.7 billion. This represents a profit of GEL 1.3 billion.
The agency, which has three different investment portfolios – dynamic, balanced and conservative – with dynamic as the top performer – saw a real rate of growth of 16.9% between the 6th August 2023 and 30th September 2024.
Comparatively, the balanced portfolios and conservative portfolios returned 15.12% and 12.64 % respectively.
The main differentiation between portfolios is their allocation to global stocks.
The dynamic portfolio: 53% of shares
The balanced portfolio: 32% of the portfolio is in shares
The conservative portfolio is 18% shares.
