According to media reports published Oct. 13, U.S. president Joe Biden will travel to Germany on October 18 after a previous trip was postponed because of Hurricane Milton in Gulf of Mexico.
Der Spiegel reports that Biden will meet with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The wars in Ukraine, the Middle East and other issues are expected to be discussed.
Biden was to convene, on October 12, a meeting of leaders from the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) in Germany where President Volodymyr Zelensky was to present his victory strategy.
He delayed his visit to supervise the emergency response to hurricane Milton.
