The ministry said that Western partners had not detected any misuse of weapons or military equipment in the two-and-a-half years since the Russian invasion.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on 14 October categorically denying accusations that Ukraine was involved in supplying drones for rebels in Mali. The ministry also denied claims made by senior officials from Mali, Niger and other countries regarding Ukraine’s alleged ‘cooperation with terrorists’ and supplying weapons to terrorists.
Le Monde reported that Malian rebels were in Ukraine to learn to make and operate small explosive drones. The newspaper cited an alleged source close to Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate HUR who confirmed the training of Malians.
Le Monde reported that a source said the CSP Group had visited Ukraine to train, and a larger group of Ukrainian instructors went to the Sahel, where they are still.
