“This piece captures the inner dialogue I had with Niko Pirosmani.” I imagined the fading summer behind the deer. In my vision the vibrant colors of autumn overtake the green, before vanishing to be replaced by snow. Some may also be reminded of Margitte’s floating dreams or their outward introspection. “My deer has a reflective human eye that represents the dynamic and ever-changing flux of time.”
The “Deer” work by Georgian artist Merab Kopileisvili, along with other works of his, will be exhibited at the Asia NOW Art Fair in Paris Art Week. The Moderne Art Fair will be held on the Avenue des Champs-Elysees from October 17-20, 2020. It is considered one of the most important events in the worlds of modern and contemporary arts. Gallery 4710 in collaboration with Reach Art Visual will exhibit Kopaleishvili’s works in Paris.
