Since the beginning of 2024, Ukraine has destroyed 10,373 Russian artillery system, with losses estimated to be $8 billion. This has severely crippled Russia‘s artillery brigades.
The Ministry of Defense reported that between the beginning of 2024 and 1 October, Ukraine’s Armed Forces had destroyed 10,373 artillery system of the Russian Army worth at least $8 billion.
The agency noted that an artillery division is comprised of 18 artillery systems and an artillery Brigade includes 72 artillery systems.
Over the past nine-month period, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed nearly 144 enemy brigades of artillery.
According to the General Staff of the Russian Army, the Russian army suffered the most equipment loss on 22 September when Ukrainian defenders destroyed an enemy artillery system.
The Defense Ministry‘s estimates of the value of the destroyed artillery were based on information from public sources and average global market price for weapons and military gear.
Ukraine’s agency claimed that for $8 billion, the aggressor could have built 18 healthcare facilities with the best medical and diagnostic equipment or 13 modern sports stadiums.
On the 14th of October, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 13 Russian tank, 44 armored combat vehicles, nine artillery system, ten tactical-operational drones, 32 vehicles and four pieces special equipment.
