The World Food Day, which is celebrated in 150 countries around the world, will be held in Kutaisi, Georgia, with the support of FAO. The event will take place from 12:00 AM until 8:00 PM near the White Bridge.
The first phase will be an agro-market, where farmers from all over the country will present their local products. Visitors will also be able to taste traditional Imeretian cuisine, while children can take part in entertainment activities.
The theme for this year’s edition was ‘The Right to Food For a Better Life And A Better Future’. It aims to promote common efforts to create inclusive, efficient and sustainable agrosystems and to ensure food security.
