Foreign Minister Maria Stenergard has announced that the Nordic and Baltic countries have decided to offer a winter assistance package.
This support and the support already allocated for next year will strengthen Ukraine’s capability to provide electricity, heat, clean water, healthcare, , and any other critical social or civilian infrastructure.
As can be seen from the Swedish Government’s website, the Nordic-Baltic partner countries announced their decision following a meeting in , on 14 October, between Andrii Sbiha and colleagues from Sweden and Denmark, Estonia, and Latvia, , Norway and Finland.
Stenergard stated that Russia’s attacks against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure had serious and extraordinary implications, especially at the eve before winter.
