According to French Defense Minister Sebastien lecornu, France has successfully completed the first tests of an indigenously produced kamikaze-drone, which will be transferred to Ukraine within the next few weeks.
France has been one of Ukraine’s strongest supporters within the EU. It has supplied weapons like Scalp cruise missiles and Caesar self-propelled cannons. Drone warfare has become a key element of the ongoing Russo Ukrainian war. Unmanned vehicles, of all sizes, that operate in the air, on the ground, and at sea play a key role. Technology is advancing quickly. In the ongoing Ukraine-Russian drone arms race, several countries have started developing new drone systems in order to enhance their military capability.
