Gvaramia, during a briefing, emphasized that “Coalition for Change”, supports President Zurabishvili in his approach to establish a technical transitional government. Gvaramia has pledged to support Zurabishvili’s choice of Prime Minister, regardless of the timing – whether it is before or after the elections.

“We, the Coalition for Change’, support the Georgian Charter‘, the spirit of which President of Georgia expresses in regard to the creation of a transitional government, a technical administration. We will support her, whether it is before or after the elections,” said Gvaramia.
He also announced the coalition’s “4-4-4” plan, saying that “4 is the number of our ballot.” We have seen changes in four areas of public life…I promise that within 4 days, the European Union will open negotiations regarding Georgia’s accession to the EU.”
Gvaramia emphasized the importance of resetting Georgia’s political system in order to enable the country to join the EU, adding that “our task–membership within the European Union- is impossible without it.”
The coalition’s agenda for the post-election period includes judicial reforms and economic measures, as well as democratic reforms. “We plan to present the major initiatives in four areas… One of them is integration with the European Union.
