European Council: Georgian actions threaten Georgia’s European pathway and de facto stop accession process. Expect free and fair parliamentary elections

The confirms once again that the Union is ready to support the Georgians on their journey. the conclusion of the European , the Council reiterates its grave concerns about the actions taken by the Georgian , which are against the values and principals on which the was founded.

The European Council reaffirms that the EU will continue to support Georgia’s sovereignty and independence, as well as its territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders. The EU reiterates its commitment to a peaceful resolution of conflict and the non-recognition/non-engagement policy.
