As of September 30th, 2024, 199.109 adult Georgian citizens do not possess a Georgian passport, electronic ID, or non-electronic identification card.
Tina Bokuchava is the leader of the “National Movement“, and the Service Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice has informed her of this in response to a question from the parliament.
According to the document, 882 052 Georgians, adults and minors included, did not have an identity document as of September 30.
According to information provided by the agency to the MP, as of 30 September, a total of 458 234 citizens had the passport of a Georgian citizen in good standing. There are 293,863 adults, and 164,371 children.
According to official statistics, 3,345,274 people have electronic ID cards. There are 3,203,702 adult citizens and 141,572 children.
According to the document, there are also 395 citizens in the country who have non-electronic identification certificates.
