The musical group “Mgzavrebi”, which was scheduled to perform at the Tbilisi City Hall Concert on October 20, has canceled their performance.
The band cancelled the concert that was to be held at the opening of Zgvisubani Park on 20 October, claiming that everyone should attend the march planned by opposition. A pro-European marche is planned for 20 October.
“We address our Fans, the concert has been cancelled.
The statement stated that “the future of Georgia lies in Europe“.
The band is well-known for its frequent concerts throughout Russia. The Georgian band performed in one of Moscow’s clubs on April 12, 2019.
Mgzavrebi won the Russian award “Chartova Diuzhina”, in the “Vzlom nomination” in February 2016.
