Nika Gvaramia (leader of the “Coalition for Change”) said this at the march “Georgia Chooses the European Union”.
According to him this day is unifying because the desire to move toward the European Union unites the Georgian people as well as their past, present, and future.
“We’re going to Freedom Square now, but the entire country is going to Europe.” We want whoever we vote, but some voters are unaware that the person they vote for could go somewhere else. I also invite the voters of “Georgian Dream”, to come and show that our choice is Europe. This day is unifying because this wish unites the Georgian people as well as their past, present, and future. I am certain that all pro-Western opposition forces and journalists, as well as the non-governmental sector will be present. “I am sure that Georgians of all political views will be here,” Nika Gvaramia said.
