Participants of the “Georgia Chooses the European Union”, march on the Heroes’ Square, marched to the Heroes’ Square just a few moments ago. The march has already begun for those gathered in different parts of Tbilisi.
They carry with them the flags of the European Union and a banner that reads “Georgia Chooses the European Union”. They also have posters with different contents supporting the European Union.
The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs follow the participants of the march.
I would like to remind you that participants of the “Georgia Selects the European Union” March gathered at 17:00 on Republic Square, Heroes’ Square (Ortachala), Marjanishvili Square (at the intersection of Amagale Street and Asatiani Street (Mtatsminda), then marched to Freedom Square where the closing event will take place. Freedom Square has a stage where speeches will be held. According to information available, Salome Zurabishvili will address the citizens.
