**Protesters March in Georgia**
People gathered near the European Union Delegation Office in Tbilisi, Georgia. They are protesting and marching towards Parliament. The march is called “With Western Education Towards Europe!”
The protesters include people who have studied in Western countries or want to study there. Students and lecturers from two universities also joined the protest. The participants are holding banners with slogans like:
* “Education is Freedom, Ignorance is Slavery”
* “I Will Not Study in Russia”
* “Education is the Most Powerful Weapon to Change the World”
**What Do They Want?**
The protesters say they want freedom and values that Georgia should have. One of them said: “We’re asking for international support because it’s very important right now.” They believe Western education is essential and should help their country.
Their demands are:
* Early elections
* Going back to a pro-European foreign policy
* Releasing people who were arrested during protests
**Why Are They Protesting?**
Citizens are protesting against the government’s decision on November 28. They postponed talking to the EU about joining until 2028. The protesters want early elections and for those detained to be released.
