**Majority of Ukrainians Trust President Zelensky**
A recent poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology shows that 69% of Ukrainians trust President Volodymyr Zelensky. This is according to a survey conducted from March 12 to 22, which interviewed 1,326 adults in government-controlled territories.
**Contradicting Elon Musk’s Claims**
This result contradicts claims made by tech billionaire Elon Musk on social media platform X. On March 6, Musk wrote that Zelensky would “lose by a landslide” if Ukraine held an election. However, the poll shows that only 28% of respondents do not trust Zelensky.
**Stable Trust Levels**
The survey found that trust in Zelensky remains relatively stable, with no significant change from a previous survey conducted earlier this month. In fact, Zelensky’s approval rating has been steadily increasing since his tense meeting with US President Donald Trump on February 28.
**Previous Polls Show Similar Results**
A prior poll published on March 7 showed that Zelensky’s approval rating had risen to 68% following the meeting with Trump. This was a significant increase from a previous survey in February, which put Zelensky’s trust level at 57%.
