A physical confrontation occurred at the 74th voting station in Kizilajlo. Tinatin Nozadze is a representative of “Future Academy of Georgia”, a non-governmental organization. She says that people were injured in the physical confrontation and an emergency medical team was called. According to information available, several citizens were transported to the clinic via ambulance.
Nozadze says that she observed the situation on the ground.
According to her explanation, she pointed at people who weren’t marked, for which she was told she had to leave the room, and was threatened.
According to the observer some people were looking to see who the voter was voting for and wanted to expel them from the district.
“After that, a group unknown rushed in.” Nozadze stated that a physical confrontation occurred and gas was released.
At this point, law enforcement officers have been mobilized and the situation has been stabilized.
