Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of Georgia‘s parliamentary majority, says Irakli Gharibashvili will not be a candidate for president.
According to Mdinaradze, the team has agreed on another person instead. Konstantine Gamsakhurdia, son of the first President of Georgia, is also not being considered.
Mdinardze said: “Irakli Gharibashvili would make a good president if he was chosen, but that’s not happening.”
