**Ukrainian Drones Attack Russian Oblasts**
Last night, January 10, Ukrainian drones launched an attack on several Russian oblasts. This caused severe fires in Leningrad and Rostov oblasts.
**Russian Air Defense Forces Respond**
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense forces intercepted 40 Ukrainian drones throughout the night. The ministry claimed that 16 drones were destroyed over Rostov Oblast, four over Kursk and Voronezh oblasts, three over Bryansk Oblast, two over the Kuban region, one over Belgorod Oblast, and 10 over the Azov Sea.
**Fires Break Out in Leningrad and Rostov Oblasts**
A large-scale fire broke out in the town of Gatchina in Leningrad Oblast. The fire started in an industrial zone and burned for 1,900 square meters before being extinguished. No one was injured in the incident.
In Rostov Oblast, a fire also occurred at an industrial production facility near the city of Rostov. The fire covered 2,000 square meters.
**Other Attacks Reported**
One of the drone attacks landed near a hospital in the village of Chaltyr in Rostov Oblast. A fire was reported in a house in the same village by Governor Vasily Golubev.
