According to Irakli Kakahidze, Prime Minister of Georgia the systematic land registration continues. This means that citizens can register a plot of free land until the end 2025.
As the Prime Minister said at the meeting of the government, one and a quarter million land plots were measured and one hundred thousand land plots registered.
“Systematic land registration was one of the most important reforms implemented. We owe a debt of gratitude to the Ministry of Justice, for the important results that we have already achieved. You know that within the framework for this reform, one million and half plots were measured, and a further million plots were registered. This means that more than a hundred thousand people are now owners. Daily, 3,500 to 4,000 plots of land are measured and registered. We can see for ourselves the large-scale work that has been done in this direction. We have decided to continue the systematic registration of land because this is an important initiative that must be completed. “There are still citizens who haven’t registered their land, and they can register it for free until the end 2025,” said Kobakhidze.
