**Prisoner with Severe Injuries at “Vivamed” Clinic**
The Public Defender‘s office has released a statement about a prisoner with severe injuries who is being treated at the “Vivamed” clinic.
According to the statement, a representative of the Public Defender visited the clinic on January 29, 2025. They met with prisoners and representatives from the penitentiary facility where the injured defendant was transferred on January 23.
Unfortunately, an interview could not be conducted with the prisoner directly at the clinic due to his health condition. The Public Defender’s office says they are withholding details about their investigation to protect sensitive personal data and ensure effective monitoring of the case.
**Investigation Launched**
The Public Defender is aware that an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the prisoner’s injuries and the deterioration of his health. They urge the investigation to be carried out quickly so that the truth can be revealed.
Additionally, the Public Defender will also examine why the penitentiary service took so long to inform the prisoner’s family about the incident.
**Wishing for Recovery**
The Public Defender hopes that the prisoner’s health condition will improve soon. They will continue to oversee the protection of his rights.
