**Abkhazia Says No to Georgian President’s Views**
A leader of Abkhazia, Adgur Ardzinba, has spoken out against the views of the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili. He wrote on his Telegram channel that Abkhazia is a free country that makes its own decisions.
Ardzinba said that the people of Abkhazia are united in their desire for independence and self-determination. He pointed out that Abkhazia’s constitution states that the country is a sovereign state formed by the right of free self-determination of the people.
**No Anti-Russian Sentiment**
Ardzinba also wanted to make it clear that Abkhazia’s actions are not anti-Russian in nature. He said that any claims to this effect are 100% lies and provocation. The country remains committed to its alliance with Russia and the friendship between their peoples.
**Internal Politics**
The opposition leader stated that Abkhazia is only concerned with internal politics, based on the interests of the multinational people of Abkhazia. He expressed no interest in knowing whose views President Zurabishvili represents.
Ardzinba concluded by saying that the people of Abkhazia have a lot of work to do to restore order on their land and don’t need the support of any politician from the other side of the Enguri River.
