Explosions Hit Russian-Controlled City
Multiple explosions rocked the Ukrainian city of Yenakiieve on December 10. The blasts were reportedly triggered by a strike from Ukraine’s HIMARS system, which hit a Russian ammunition depot.
The attack caused secondary explosions and forced residents to evacuate their homes. Thirteen streets in the area had to be cleared as the explosions continued.
Yenakiieve has been under Russian control since 2014. The city serves as a key logistics hub for Russian forces, who use it to store equipment, train personnel, and supply troops. Ukraine has increased its drone attacks on Russian military targets this year, disrupting fuel and ammunition supplies crucial to the Russian war effort.
