The Elysee Palace reported that Emmanuel Macron, Donald Trump and their post-election conversation agreed to continue the on and Middle East conflict during their post election conversation.
Le Figaro reported that President Emmanuel Macron had a 25-minute telephone conversation with Donald Trump after the latter’s win the US presidential elections.
According to the Elysee Palace both leaders expressed a “desire to work towards the return of peace, stability and security” amid “ongoing international crises.”
Le Figaro reports that Macron stressed the importance of ‘s involvement and told Trump he was ready to continue the conversation and work with him on shared concerns including the wars taking place in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Macron was one of the first EU leaders who congratulated Trump on his presidential victory on 5 November.
