Air Serbia Sees Record Profits
The Serbian national airline, Air Serbia, has reported a big profit for the first time in its history. The company made 50 million Euros or more in net profits.
According to Air Serbia’s numbers, they earned 41.3 million Euros after taxes. Their total revenue for the year was 700.3 million Euros.
Air Serbia’s CEO, Jiri Marek, said that the company expanded its fleet with three new planes and a bigger plane for long-haul flights. This required big investments, but Air Serbia still made more money than last year.
In 2024, Air Serbia carried over 4.4 million passengers on 87 routes to 33 countries from three airports in Serbia.
Air Serbia’s performance was better than their previous best year, which was 2023.
