New Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence to Be Changed Soon
The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, spoke at a press conference about the law. He said that a working group will be set up soon to change the law.
“We are not here for a vacation,” Mr. Berset said. “We expect the law to be changed.” He also said that promises and commitments must become real facts.
Mr. Berset said that the deadline for setting up the working group is within a month. This means that experts will be brought together to help change the law.
“We need time,” Mr. Berset explained. He said that finding experts who are available can take some time, especially since Christmas holidays are approaching.
